Telehealth service is a consultation with a healthcare provider by telephone or video call.

St. Andrews General Practitioners now offer Telehealth consultations saving time with travelling and the convenience of being able to speak and ‘see’ a doctor when patients are unable to travel. Telehealth services are not intended to replace essential visits to the doctor but rather be a convenient solution when you can’t see a doctor face to face.

There is no compromise on the quality of service and care that a patient receives. This is just another service St. Andrews offers to patients who are eligible.

Eligibility Requirements for General Practitioner Telehealth Services:

Patients are required to have had a face-to-face consultation with one of our General Practitioners within the previous 12 months to be eligible for a telehealth consultation.

Telehealth services attract the same billing as face to face consultations. All telehealth consultations require payment in full to be held as a deposit prior to securing the booking. This will be applied to the fee on completion on the consultation and forwarded to medicare to receive your medicare rebate into your MyGov nominated bank account.
