Dr Asif Ahmed

General Practitioner

With a strong background in General Practice, Dr Asif Ahmed is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, having obtained his specialist registration in 2019. Since moving to Australia, Dr Ahmed spent his time in regional and rural Victoria areas honing his medical expertise.

Dr Ahmed holds Advanced Clinical Certificates in both Skin Cancer Medicine and Skin Cancer Surgery and is experienced in the detection, diagnosis, and treatment of skin cancer. He is a RACGP examiner, supervisor and a mentor and enjoys teaching junior doctors and surgical assistance and forming strong relationships with his patients and believes that this foundation – a therapeutic partnership – is the key to obtaining good outcomes for his patients.

Having worked in large family practice settings in regional Victoria and Melbourne for several years, he is now looking forward to providing care to Aged Care patients in the suburbs of Melbourne.
